I wonder what Jack and Chesney would do if Annie pulled a similar stunt on them? What if she screamed out that someone broke in and stole all their food and she can’t get any more? Turnabout is fair play, right?

About that scan I had yesterday: It’s normally about a 10 minute thing. He got me set up on the bed and did two scans.Then he wanted to do a dye contrast and 2 more scans. Sure, I’ve had that before so I know what’s involved.He stuck the thing in that delivers saline then the dye. All of a sudden, I feel cold liquid dripping down my arm.He said the ‘hub’ split in two. Instead of taking it out and putting in new one in on the other arm, he kept trying to tape it together. It hurt. This went on and on and I could feel him trying clean it all up with paper towels. Usually I watch when things are in my arm, but no this time. Finally, he said he would call the radiologist and ask if what he gotfrom the first scans was enough or should he continue trying to get the dye in. I’m thinking the scan goes directly to the radiologist because he saw it immediately. He told the tech that the scans were good, he could see it all and there was no need to get the dye in. So, he pulled the broken hub out and when I sat up, the sleeve on my left arm was soaking wet and kind of sticky. I asked it would stain and he said no. I washed it when I got home and it all came out.
So, then last night I got mail from my doctor. She said there was nothing on the scan that was abnormal. Those nodules have probably been there all of my life. It was a long explanation but the bottom line is that there isn’t any need for any more follow up. She did say she wants to get to the bottom of the pains. I don’t know if I still need to see the gastro so I sent that message back to her. Waiting for an answer.
Brad was asleep when I got that mail so I left him a note that said “No insurance money for you.”

Poor Annie. She really looks freaked out. :( On another note, saw three robins, a towhee, and a sparrow while out walking today.
