I missed the part where the Democratic Party runs CNN. Whereas I have not missed the part where Fox runs the Republicoup Party.

As usual Mr. Varvel captures the moment. To those who don’t want to admit that their favorite left-wing misinformation media has become so painful to watch that even the “party-faithful” have abandoned it…. After Twitter maybe we could interest Elon Musk in buying controlling interest in what was once a news organization?

Starting CNN+ and then trying to charge for it was not a good business decision. If you have never made a bad decision in your life/career; then you are an outlier. If you make a bad decision and learn from it, the episode was not a waste.

A business venture is failing? Happens every day in America to both conservatives and liberals. This is some weak tea.

You have what you believe is a good idea. You invest in it and try it. It doesn’t work and you admit it. You cut your losses, pay all your bills, learn from your mistakes, and move on. Sadly the very concept of honesty and integrity in business is something Orange Julius and his acolytes fail to understand.

Varvel distracts from actual news, like the GQP mass amnesia when it comes to the Jan 6th Insurrection.

I blame Ted Turner. Since there isn’t constant news, the 24 hour news channels have to create news or hype tiny news. The faux news began with CNN and was completely bastardized by Fox.

CNN is not run by the Dem party.

It’s amazing how the right makes nonsense up. Has any liberal, anywhere, said anything about CNN+ being discontinued?

Remember when the right wingers were totally behind CNN’s Wolf Blitzer’s coverage of both Iraq wars?

Most political cartoonists, of the far right (like Varvel) or left, tend to focus on what they want to impugn. The commercial failure of CNN+ validates Varvel’s point of view against CNN, and the worse crimes of MTG and other coup-planners do not.

I may be wrong, but I believe the toons, in most cases, are submitted days ahead of publication.Also CNN’s ratings are right down there with Denetia Joe’s.

I never even heard of the service until news of its demise broke. No big loss.
