Shouldn’t all those doctors & scientists be wearing their masks?

FULL DISCLOSURE: This pleasingly plump 65+yo diabetic & her best bud, who has asthma severe enough to put her in the ER occasionally, don’t plan on giving ours up any time soon even though we’re both vaxxed & boosted – especially with Omicron on the loose & so many people ditching theirs these days! (BONUS: My pollen allergies have hardly bothered me at all in the last couple of years.)

Besides, the mask is such a habit now, I feel weird going out without one. They hang on a hook on the back of my apartment door, along with my keys & sunglasses & anything else I may need to grab on the way out. I honestly don’t understand why everyone doesn’t have that habit! =smh=

I suspect this judge will, or has gotten a call from DJT to congratulate her on her “tremendously wise” decision. In addition I strongly suspect she soon will appear at one or two high-profile GOP “Hootenannies.”

What would a judge deemed to be UNQUALIFIED by the Bar Association know about it?!?!?!

As Clarence Thomas taught her to do, she refuse to follow the principle of giving deference to the agency and compounded by ignoring CDC’s emergency powers. The ABA was right . . . Unqualified

Not surprised, ruling from a non-qualified Trump appointed judge.

The ruling has nothing to do with how effective masks are or are not.

Nor is it any attempt to improve the research, statistics, or any aspect of mask (or vaccine) mandates OR recommendations.

The ruling is intended to eliminate public health policy. Republicans and Trump Disciples especially (the judge is one) believe there should be no such thing as public health policy. They will abolish the CDC and NIH if they get the opportunity.

Republicans hate public institutions of almost every kind — schools, most cabinet departments, etc.

All of this from a “judge” who had never worked in a federal court and had failed the ABA criteria for being a competent judge.

Except for the countless doctors that spoke out and were cancelled because they did not toe the line with Flip Flop Fauci.

Geez, if masks are so great, why is no one in that crowd wearing one??

Too many people worried about the medical need for mask, which many medical experts call COVID theater. It is a LEGAL decision, following the same lines as the Eviction Moratorium being thrown out by SCOTUS. Just because something may be a good idea, does not make the mandate legal. IF masking (which was to expire on April 18 anyway) was so all important, get Congress to pass a law. The CDC is not a law making body.
