@Rhetorical_QuestionI think the “SLAP” never really touched Chris, and that it all was staged between he and Will, even Jada. If you notice Will & Jada were laughing and then the camera shows Will slowly walking to the stage. Most of these award shows are so boring and slanted toward what film can win, that their TV Audience has dropped. If you notice Chris braces when he sees Will coming toward him. After the slap Chris never touches his face react like someone who has been attacked.
Interpretations abound. But wasn’t Chris basically saying Jada was bald and buff? Our handicaps don’t define us; our response to them does. The big fuss is about making it a big fuss. If Will was being defensive for his family, that short walk to the stage should have resolved the violent reaction into an issue that should be private. I think the guy is grasping and troubled. Don’t you just wish, sometimes, that folks would just keep their private battles to themselves.

What Is all this fuss about?
Chris Rock dissed Jada Pinkett Smith, and her husband defended her.
Shows Will’s devotion to his wife, something that’s extremely rare nowadays!!

The fact that this was seen in countries all around the world says more to me than Smith slapping Rock. Which is IMPO sad.

A slap is a slap, uncalled for at any time. I’m sure Jada has had much worse said about her. “Macho” Will just had to make a scene.

I wondered how he made it thru the Rush Hour movies without Jackie Chan slapping him.

Y’know, I’m curious: what do Jada and the kids have to say about all this?

I have no problem with Chris Rock getting slapped. I wanted someone to do that when I saw Rush Hour.
