@Ling today’s double feature IS funny , our HERO MR Andrew Capp is always the subject of hilarity :o) my avatar is a picture stating that politicians and diapers should be changed often an for the same reason , which holds true for Malta because we are in election mode for 26/3 and our politicians from both major parties stink, come passerai la vostra Domenicha mio meno vecchio amicho sinchero ? our Sunday should be calm i hope , we are both in a good mood no early morning drive ,shopping to do or errands to run just stay inside the houseand keep hydrated till we get to watch our Archbishop celebrate the Holy Mass on television, keep safe and a bientot pal

Ferrets are adorable little animals often kept as pets.

And they do a good job of keeping the rat population down.

Now, if only scientists could breed a species of giant ferret to take down human vermin, like Capp!!

Considering that the pub is open on Sunday, I’m guessing there are very few church-goers in Hartlepool.

No LAW against a little NIP. Not even in the BIBLE. If you choose – choose lightly. Steady as she goes… Lord’s day is seven days a week now… not just ONE to be HOLY. 15% good is not your best.

I’m startled that Tom doesn’t know that Andy doesn’t work either! Thought everybody who goes to Rose and Crown knows that since Andy is always buming drinks from someone?

Let’s just say that Andy was the exception of our generation.

Flo’s trying to keep her temper, since she knows he isn’t going to have a pint and his visit to the pub will not be quick.

As for Tom, the bar is ringing with laughter because you said something funny — even if you’re not aware of it.

As one of the Boomer generation. I work with the younger generations. for the most part work habits wise they not much different then my generation was at that age. Actually a lot of them seem less entitled. Basically they want far wages and not to have work multiple jobs to get by. They are questioning why some day trader bum, hedge fund jerk and even a stockholder has a piece of their efforts. They are asking those question earlier then I did is all.

Same deal here in America. People are less willing to work than before, especially after 2020. We have had supply side issues at work because of delayed deliveries due to truck driver shortage. Restaurants closing early because of lack of staff and owners unwilling to pay overtime, etc.
