“Woke Agenda”? Does that mean the GOP is pushing a “Sleep walking Agenda”? Not surprising, as their Senate Minority leader, Mitch McConnell, says: “Black American voters vote, on average, as often as Americans”. Humm, looks like Mitch hasn’t cancelled his “KKK” membership,

I like that republicans are building their midterm sandcastle out of quicksand too. Dems need to Benghazi the hell out of Trump’s coup and the republican’s complicity. They need to shine a spotlight on voter suppression through lawsuits and congressional hearings while pushing voting rights legislation like republicans pushed Benghazi hearings. Over and over again from the House even if it goes nowhere in the Senate.

Man, watching the meltdown on November 2 when the Dems are likely decimated is going to be fun. The Republicans are pretty pathetic, but the Democrats have been warned for a couple of years now, and it’s getting louder and louder that the way they are going about things is going to cost them.

Neither party works for the people, but watching the gnashing of teeth is going to be fun.

Trump instructed Michael Cohen to make sure Don Jr. went to jail instead of Ivanka

According to a report from Business Insider, Michael Cohen admitted on Saturday that Donald Trump instructed him in 2012 to make sure that Don Trump Jr. be the one to take the fall instead of Ivanka Trump during an investigation by Manhattan’s district attorney into lying about property sales.

In an interview with MSNBC’s Alex Witt, Cohen recalled that the former president was concerned about Ivanka’s well-being if she was sentenced to jail and that Don Jr. would handle it better.

According to the report, Cohen told the MSNBC host, “You may recall that there was the district attorney’s case here for Trump Soho where it was either Don or Ivanka was in very big trouble as a result of lying about the number of units that had been sold.”

‘Looming question’ of Trump indictment for seditious conspiracy after last week’s revelations: legal expert

In an interview with the Guardian, Kimberley Wehle, a professor of law at the University of Baltimore, claimed that the investigation of Donald Trump and his connection to the events of Jan 6th appears to be ramping up and now there is the “looming question” over whether he will be charged with sedition.

With the Guardian’s Richard Luscombe writing, “No single week in the year since Trump left the White House has been as dramatic, or for him as potentially catastrophic, as the one just passed,” he added that there is a belief that a criminal indictment is “one step closer.”

According to Wehle, revelations of a plan to seize swing-state voting machines with an assist from the military is making the job of the House committee investigating the Capitol riot easier.

“He’s Teflon Don, he said he could shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and survive it, his supporters are going to support him no matter what, but I’m starting to think more and more that the walls are closing in on this guy,” she explained before adding, “The looming question is whether Trump will be indicted along with 11 others so far for seditious conspiracy [over the 6 January Capitol attack]. To me that’s the biggest turn of events … the justice department believes they have evidence beyond a reasonable doubt of an agreement, a meeting of minds to overturn a legitimate election.”

Republicans run scared from GOP’s agenda

On Wednesday, Senate Republicans successfully filibustered Biden’s sweeping voting rights overhaul – known as the “Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act” – which would standardize voting laws across all 50 states and clamp down on voter suppression. Not a single Republican backed the measure, even though the bill is supported by nearly 70% of Americans, according to a Navigator poll from November.

With Republicans having dashed Biden’s hopes of passing the party’s two signature pieces of legislation – the “Build Back Better Act” and the “Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act” – Democrats now question whether their colleagues believe in anything other than mindless obstructionism.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Biden echoed the spirit of Sununu’s remarks, asking reporters, “What are Republicans for? What are they for? Name me one thing they’re for.”

That same day, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., sidestepped questioning when asked to lay out GOP’s official agenda. “That’s a very good question,” McConnell said. “And I’ll let you know when we take it back.”

According to a recent Axios report, the Kentucky Republican has privately told colleagues and donors that the Republicans have no legislative agenda and are more interested in picking apart Democrats’.

The soaring cost of consumer goods has proven an evergreen source of whataboutism for Republicans, even as the year-end jobs numbers indicate that Biden has steered the economy through an unprecedented economic recovery since he took office. Fox News called inflation a “top weapon” for the GOP to wield against Democrats in the upcoming midterms.

“There is nothing that messages well, significantly reduces inflation and is painless,” Riedl told the Post. “It’s easier to criticize inflation than to map out an actual solution going forward, and that’s the box Republicans are currently in.”

Analysis: Why Rudy Giuliani’s fake electors scheme was so dangerous to democracy

By December 2020, Trump had already lost the election but the electoral votes from each state still had to be certified. Giuliani and his team effectively tried to subvert that process in an effort to overturn Biden’s legitimate victory — a push that involved replacing real electors from seven states Trump lost with GOP electors.

Giuliani and his team enlisted GOP allies from these states to sign certificates falsely claiming they were the duly-elected electors — even though they were not.

After various election fraud lawsuits in these states failed, Giuliani and his team shifted their focus to January 6. The idea, as outlined in a memo written by conservative lawyer John Eastman, was for then-Vice President Mike Pence to throw out President Joe Biden’s electors and replace them with the GOP electors on January 6 when Congress counted the electoral votes.

This, in theory, would give Trump more electoral votes than Biden and allow him to maintain his grip on power.

This plan was very detailed, and our sources made clear Giuliani and Trump campaign officials were intimately involved. They tried to recruit GOP electors to fill the slots needed to put forward an “alternate slate,” secured meeting rooms in statehouses where the GOP electors could meet on December 14 and circulated drafts of these fake certificates that falsely declared Trump had won.

The fake certificates are important because some legal experts, and some state attorneys general, are now saying that it might have been illegal for the GOP electors to send fake documents to the National Archives.

Rad-ish – 8 posts? Seriously man. Take some meds. You are off your rocker. As for the GOP platform, do the opposite of Biden and you will succeed. Follow the constitution, voter integrity, law and order, secure borders, energy independence, parental rights, stop inflation, strong (not woke) military.

Yeah! Go woke, go broke, is a real thing as Hollywood, Disney, DC and other entertainment industries are finding out. The new Disney CEO and other top executives have laid the hammer down regarding woke shiz and have told department heads where the door is if they can’t deal with it.
