Our democracy is burning down, burning down, burning down. Our democracy is burning done thanks to the Qpublicans. Vote them out this year AND in 2024.

Although the founding fathers did not want to create a democracy, I doubt they predicted the consequences resulting where one third of the voters would elect over two-thirds of the Senate.

Right wingers are now claiming that any federal intervention to enforce fair access to voting attacks the constitutional basis of the entire nation. I kid you not. Because, I presume, they argue that actually letting every qualified person vote is unconstitutional.

Somehow the progressives believe 51 Senate votes against their will is a threat to democracy. I was taught to believe 51% of the vote for or against a proposal was democracy, whether I liked the outcome or not.

Explain then how when a person in Wyoming elects a senator and their vote is worth over fifty times that of a person in California electing a senator. How does that square with equal representation?

Manchin, and Sinema, are despicable – barely better than the republican’ts.

At the time of the constitution creation, the population of Virginia was 13 times that of Delaware.
