Certainly appreciate going back to first 10 Cats Strips since I didn’t know about Graham’s wonderful work until someone mentioned 10 cats in very early Breaking Cat News!

Poooor kitties. Sooooo hungry!

Our dear Bbear (Bob Wharton) is 71 today. Never forgotten.

Does Oliver have teeth? I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of the kitties with teeth bared.

We have 10 cats. All rescues; 2 dumped on busy highways when they could barely walk, one trying to follow a wild turkey family when she was about 3 weeks, one rescued at 8 weeks old from a cat trap belonging to a high kill shelter, another tossed to the street when she became pregnant, the others raised in homes with their mommas by caring fosters. I have to say that the ones found on the street are always ready to eat- now, 5 minutes from now, and anytime they hear crunchies hitting the bowl or a can popping. The others never knew what it was to be hungry so are not as food focused. Until they’ve been left to starve overnight with only a bowl of crunchies to stave off starving to death till breakfast.

Um … such a snarky utterance means only one thing …. it’s Mr. Hollingsworth uttering it (pre-Jack as Chesney’s co-conspirator and/or yes cat/man). Oliver is and always will be a precious angel!!!!!!!

I hope the answer to the last one is school.

Chesney’s head is smaller. THAT didn’t last long!

If I so DARE to feed my cats late , I hear about it from them!!

Five minutes must be like five hours to a cat, especially if they’re hungry. I don’t know if I’ve seen this one before. Thanks for posting it, Graham. Definitely an early strip, as Oliver wouldn’t be so snarky later on. On another note, saw two juncos, three nuthatches, a finch, a squirrel, and a raven while out walking today.

If not on this site, where else would this comic be hiding? * giggle * Is there another treasure trove somewhere :D
