Some are homeless by choice (Clyde seems to fit that). Some are homeless are a consequence of other choices (alcohol, drugs) they have made. Others are homeless through no fault of their own (mental or physical illness). Some try to be invisible while others make themselves very visible. In my town, many agencies both governmental & non-governmental provide help. Sometimes the help is as a ‘hand up’ ljob training, work clothing, housing, transportation, etc.) but with strings attached. Often, the help is more like ‘enabling’ (warming/cooling centers, soup kitchens, not enforcing panhandling laws, etc.) So far the problem has evaded solution & seems to be increasing.

I’ve been invisible to women for the last twenty years or so. Well, at least I’m not homeless.

There are many days and nights, especially at this time of year, when I’m very grateful not to be homeless.

Note to self: Ninjas are only invisible in the dark…

Maybe if he changed his background, and I don’t mean his school record.

I’ve read that even at night, black is not the best camo color.

Grey actually works better.
