New ice age by the weekend!

When I was a kid we had to walk ten miles each way in snow up to our waist to get to the grocery store up hill both ways…

When I lived in Tuscaloosa AL, just the mention of a potential ice or snow storm would result in a run to buy up everything at the supermarkets. Here in FL the food and gas hoarding happens when your area gets anywhere near that dreaded “cone of uncertainty” when a tropical storm or hurricane approaches. It really hits the fan if Jim Cantore shows up in your TV market or anywhere within 100 or so miles.

And milk — that way you can have milk samiches!

Same thing happens in FL when a hurricane is predicted

The weather broadcasters don’t need any encouragement to exaggerate their weather warnings.

Meh….they’re never right anyways.

When it snows in central Texas the ice cream section gets wiped clean.

So that’s the explanation for the bare shelves in some stores? I thought it was something else…

The forecast will be: some clouds, giving way to breaks of sun, followed by scattered showers, which may give way to snow flurries…followed by darkness as we head into night skies! So this is why the weather broadcaster is Never inaccurate!! Lol

Why, all you have to say is there is a supply chain issue, same results. Panic buying, in every aisle.

I would… if there were any on the shelves!

You can’t when the shelves are bare.

Either he’s new to the concept of lying, or he deliberately spilled the beans on those stores.
