    I had a Norwegian Elkhound that would go down to the pond in the winter and stop on the ice at the edge of it until a chunk would break loose. He’d then drag it out and sit there and gnaw on it happily. One of the silliest things I’ve seen, but he sure seemed to enjoy it.
