Apparently Goodwyn believes that Trump didn’t make America great again. Instead, he turned it into a lemon of a country. Well, he tried, but more of us refused to go along.

Amazing how Goodwyn actively approved of the damage done by the last administration. Was he paid by them?

You are correct Al, the country did elect Joe Biden as President, fair and square. The idiot trump lost and instigated an insurrection against the very nation he swore to protect. President Biden got to work to make life better for all citizens, not just those who overwhelmingly voted for him. Here are a few accomplishments under President Biden’s first-year watch:

The $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill.

$1.9 trillion Covid relief deal, cutting child poverty in half.

Getting 73percent of American adults vaccinated with at least one dose.

An economy where the unemployment rate has dropped to 4.2 percent.

The average number of Americans filing for unemployment over the last four weeks is the lowest since 1969. When President Biden took office, over 18 million were receiving unemployment benefits. Today, only 2 million are still receiving unemployment

Having competent federal judges appointed and confirmed.

When President Biden took office, "46% of schools were open. Today, 99% of schools are open.

The U.S. was the only G7 country [U.S., U.K., Canada, Japan, Germany, France, and Italy] to surpass pre-pandemic output by Q2 2021 and keep growing. No other G7 country had reached pre-pandemic output by end of 3Q 2021.

Of course, not everything President Biden wanted to do in the first year was accomplished. However, for a First-year President, inheriting a country in the middle of a pandemic, it’s not a bad record. And what have Republicans been focused on? Denying voting rights to minority citizens, lying about the 2020 election, and denying reproductive rights to women. Not a good look for Republicans, Al.

So, Mr. Goodwyn, please tell us how things would be different and better if the Orangutan and his minions were still in office. We’re waiting.

And a new year starts in the Alternate universe. Biden is trying to undo the mess the Last Occupant made and the Occupant of the Goodwynverse shows us how that looks on the other side of his funhouse mirror.

Considering the condition of this country when he took office, President Biden has done a pretty good job (so far) of undoing much of the chaos, incompetence, idiocy and just plain meanness of the previous administration. Still a long way to go, though.

Al, I reviewed your editorial cartoons from 1/6/21 and after. You were realized what had happened at the Capital and based on your cartoons, and you knew who was responsible. We can have a vigorous debate about politics and disagree on many things, but I think you believe in democracy and don’t believe in lunatic conspiracy theories. I urge you to use your pen and talent this week to reaffirm what happened on January 6, 2021, who was responsible, and encourage that it never happens again.

Anything Biden does is better than Trump and his Nazi-like MAGAts destroying the country
