Thank you, Mr. Ramirez, for showing us once again how conservative ideology has devoured courtesy, civility, and basic decency. Although you have expressed selective distaste for Trump, you follow his lead in how has he behaved when luminaries as John McCain, John Lewis, and Bob Dole died, to name a few. Contrast with the reaction among Democrats.
Was a time when conservatives retained some sense of honor. That time is as dead as Harry Reid.
Reid’s legacy is a further bastardization of the vision of the Founding Fathers. Sadly, he has much company. If dirtbag politicians like old Harry get to go to Heaven, I hope he’s getting a stern lecture from Jefferson, Hamilton, Adams, Franklin, Washington, Madison, et al, and seeing the error of his ways. If not, point him in the direction of hell and give him a shove.
Well done Mike. It is my opinion that you drew this with a message of “Senator Reid was not someone I liked but I will admit he fought (boxed and politic’d) for what he thought was good, had success, and a respectful salute is due”.
Then what you got when you printed it was a show of tribalism. From the viewpoint I said was my opinion you probably don’t like how some of “your” side are responding. You could try to nudge them in the direction you want to go. But you’re going to need to speak directly to them.

Dingy Harry Reid was an extremist and an obstructionist, he did nothing for the American people when he was in politics.

Harry Reid had so much of an impact on American life that nobody really noticed that he died on the same day that John Madden did.
