Take Roz. She needs a night off from her own cooking.

Been there…both ends. It was never fun.

The wonders of vocabulary.

I cancelled a lunch date once right after I had ordered from the menu in a cafe. My companion, who had told me she just wanted a “friends” relationship, suddenly started shouting at me about the evils of caffeine and disturbing the whole cafe. We had been on “coffee dates” before (where she drank tea), so this was completely crazy behavior. I asked the chef to change my order to take out and sat silently while the rant continued. When it was ready, I took my order and walked out. Never did figure out what that was about.

Badda-boom, badda bing….

Went to a fancy restaurant and the hostess asked if we had reservations. I said, “yes, but we decided to come here anyway”.

Apparently she had too much time to size up Cosmo.

Money well not spent…….
