The last two months of mostly word-based strips have been disappointing in my opinion. In 2022, I’m hoping to see more action, such as Nancy and chore-avoidance, Poochie outsmarting her owners, robotics club shenanigans, or Aunt Trixie breaking the fourth wall. Fortunately while Jaimes is in a creative lull, there are classic Nancys to make up for it—the current classic strip storyline with Sluggo working at the circus is one of my all-time favorites.
