And not one comment when Herr Trump was not only driving up ininflation but also ignoring COVID-19 and giving tax breaks to the rich during his entire time in office. You make your republigoon overlords very happy “Mr.” Breen!
Breen has again missed the obvious. It’s not inflation if the fossil fuel industry and several corporations are posting record profits. It’s simply more price gouging by the wealthy.
In other news, the meat industry recorded record profits, while trying to claim that the high prices were due to a shortage of meat. There was not a shortage of meat. However, there is no shortage of gullible Republican voters that fall for lies.
Inflation sure is a nutcracker for many. Guess who is most affected by the current 39 year high in inflation? Yeah, the usuals…poor and middle class folks.
Good thing that we have a highly functional, efficient, effective, Congress — ready to put politics aside — and focus on working together to implement proven anti-inflation policies for the nation. /s
Wondering why people are surprised that there’s some trauma while recovering from a global economic disruption. Because there are historical precedents. Galore.
Republicans will spin anything to blame Joe. Inflation means good times for “capitalism”.. charge what the market will bear, profits for the shareholders. Policy once the root of the republican party.

Inflation: Over rated. It’s really a money grab. Once again.

A bit over 6.5% per anum, as recently measured. Though some things are less, and gasoline (which has bumped down a bit) is much more.

You know what would reduce inflation?
Government subsidies but of course they won’t do it because giving even a single dollar to people is too socialist

The number one cause of inflation is the greed of the American consumer. Why won’t Biden fix that?

So weird how runaway Pentagon budgets never influence inflation.

That inflation doll looks a lot like a capitalist oligarch.
