If the Dems ever get solid control of Congress, one law that absolutely is needed should be no presidential pardons for anyone involved in an insurrection or seditionist act, none for anyone who worked for or on behalf of a president or his administration and none for prospective charges (that have not been made).

Everyone should see that 1/6 becomes nothing more than a Fat Orange Clown’s version of an insurrection mulligan when the higher ups in the planning are able to walk away. We’re digging our own grave deeper.

“That was just a practice shot.” The next one will be real…if it’s a good shot.

Those in the former guy’s White House and inner circle will be pleading the 5th now that the courts are ruling he can’t claim Executive Privilege over all his papers. Just like when high ranking crime figures were pulled in front of Congressional committees back in the 50s/60s.

Mark Meadows met multiple times at White House with retired military officer tied to insurrection PowerPoint

The report states that retired Colonel Phil Waldron ‘who circulated a proposal to challenge the 2020 election, including by declaring a national security emergency and seizing paper ballots’ was in constant contact with Mark Meadows.

Retired Army Colonel and “informational warfare” specialist lets slip that he sent the Powerpoint

Phil Waldron, a retired Army colonel and one of the key propagators of Trump’s Big Lie, apparently circulated the document among influential lawmakers, holding several briefings for Senators and House members on Jan. 4 and 5, respectively. Waldron, who reportedly cites a history of involvement with “informational warfare,” told the paper that he hadn’t given Meadows a copy but wasn’t surprised it found his way to Trump’s chief of staff.

“He would have gotten a copy for situational awareness for what was being briefed on the Hill at the time,” he said.

It’s unclear Meadows’ continuing involvement with Waldron around Jan. 6 — though Waldron told The Washington Post that he met with Meadows and others at the White House just a few weeks earlier, around Christmas, to discuss investigative avenues, and held another meeting with Trump and several Pennsylvania legislators in the Oval Office on Nov. 25.

Ex-GOP official laughs out loud after ‘dumb’ Mark Meadows hands coup PowerPoint to investigators

“You can look at the early behavior from the book launch to his turning over all these documents that he was repositioning himself to come clean,” Steele elaborated. “He was beginning to buy into the narrative that Trump would be less of a factor inside the GOP until he realized he wasn’t and that became clear after he released his book and then went out and said that his own book was fake news after Trump called him out.”

Laughing the former GOP official continued, “I mean, how dumb do you have to be to write a book and then said, ‘oh, no, I just made all that up’? It makes no sense. So he finds himself now in this situation where he’s given over all of these documents, and this is — I know a lot of people are anxious about the January 6th committee, but give it time, folks because they’re sitting on a treasure trove of information and they are making the moves they’re making because they know what they know and everybody else doesn’t know what they know because they turned — they don’t know what Mark’s turned over versus what this group over here’s turned over.”
