    Very many years ago one of my first jobs was working in a tire retreading shop

    January is a slow time for tires because everyone is broke from Christmas and people should already have their winter tires

    I took a week or 2 of vacation, but sometimes the shop was closed for almost a month

    There is always cleaning to do

    Retreading is a lost art, as it should be. The roads in my area are littered with recapped treads that have peeled off of tractor trailers.

    Funny! Out of place. Elves work with Santa who is a halfling himself. They are a family. All aspects of toy making are automated way back in 1905. Molecular engineering creating them atom-by-atom.
