Not really. Taking extra non-police work off the police’s plates and anti-vigilantism go hand in hand.

The de-militarization of both police and private citizens is a good thing which increases public safety.

That has to be one of the worst slogans ever: Not only is it only half true, but it’s NUANCED and it can be EASILY misrepresented. On the other hand, vigilantism is bad in and of itself.

The only people who want the police defended are the anarchists and their supporters. Defund the police and you will have more people like rittenhouse and those idiots in Georgia running around.

The only ones that have been voting to defund the police have been the Republicans.

Defunding the police is only a problem if you aren’t a politician who gets taxpayers to pay for a six-man security detail.

The problem is really simple to solve. The world is full of evil people. If you don`t have law and order, chaos ensues. Why oh why is that so difficult to understand?

Defund the military? China will be here tomorrow right ahead of Russia. Is that what you want? Defund the police? Thugs will be in your house tomorrow. Is that what you want?

I wonder sometimes is many of the police might be like vigilantes, but with a badge and legal sanction. When I hear about good size chunks of police departments not willing to be vaccinated, I suspect that the “protect and serve” portion of their mandate is being neglected. And, maybe the only reason for donning the badge is to be heavily armed and have the power to use them. Now, fortunately, the clear majority of the police are vaccinated and do protect and serve. But, when I hear about this chunk of the nonvaxxed cops walking off the force, I actually breathe a sign of relief.

By their own words posted here, the leftists prove they do not believe in the rule of law, the constitution and especially the Bill of Rights. The Marxists here fan the flames of anarchy, violence and division. It’s obvious that some are trolls paid by foreign sources hostile to the USA. Others are rich elitists who are far removed from the violence in the streets and could care less about the murder rate and violence in the inner cities. They don’t actually care about the child rapist, sexual predator and rapist and woman beater that Kyle defended himself from except that it gives themselves a talking point and a platform from which to attack the right, Republicans and the rule of law.

It’s okay. There are many more Kyle’s out there willing to protect themselves, family, friends and property when the Democrat politicians hamstring the police and fail to call out the National Guard. There’s a wizard who lives in San Diego who I’m sure would welcome a visit by AntiFa and a few anarchists. I’m sure his magical skills would stand in good place of a GFZ12 or an AR-15.
