That’s the problem right there: They(we) didn’t HANDLE it, just tried to shove it in the closet. Another 20% to 25% of the US population, fully vaxxed as soon as possible would have straightened it right out. Though we’d still be dealing with (not usually lethal) breakthrough cases brought in from nations where they’ve not had that opportunity. Or acted like the US actually DID act. :(
