I learned how to say “Gesundheit” in Italian. My primary doctor is from Italy. She sneezed at my appointment a couple of days ago. I said, “Bless you” and “Gesundheit”. I then admitted that I didn’t know how to say it in Italian, since my Italian grandpa never spoke Italian to us kids. She said it’s “salute” – pronounced “sah loo tay”. (FWIW, lol!)
