These lying, thieving senators allow the oil and drug companies to raise and fix prices for no other reason except to make themselves richer and cry of their exorbitant cost increases which are none..

Boo-hoo-hoo! We’re so sad that gas prices are high so we can Blame Biden even thought the President has nothing to do with oil prices or supply and demand issues!

And the President can do WHAT to manage gas prices? In that line of thought, Trump lowered gas prices by helping proliferate a viral plague, killing 600,000 Americans, and shutting down the economy. Was gas cheap? Yes. Was it worth it?

Meanwhile, we sell oil cheap to the Japanese, while we burn alcohol made from subsidized corn. No sense at all, just paid off politicians.

Anything to blame the Dems…for what GOP set up and failed!!! ….Biden has nothing to do with gas prices, high prices, etc. This pandemic has skewered the ebb and flow of the business world wide….

GOPs got nothing, as usual, except their usual whining, dissing, deceiving and blaming! There’s never is a plan A or plan B when it comes to we the people, but they sure find their own devious plans to serve themselves….

The former twice impeached President just stated that President Biden should tap our oil reserves to lower the gas prices. Remember when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and failed to destroy all our oil reserves at Pearl Harbor while ALL our aircraft carriers were out to sea? During WWII gas prices were average for that era, but were rationed like everything else. War bonds were sold to people to fund the expenses of past wars declared by Congress . . . not started by sitting President(s) who would use money ‘borrowed’ from the Social Security Trust Fund. Ever wonder what the world be like today had the Axis had won WWII ?

Don’t worry.. Americans will cut back on non essentials so they can afford the gas to drive to the health spa or their local Starbucks in their gas guzzling 4×4.

I thought for sure the “cartoon” would be about Rittenhouse’s crocodile tears. Today I do hope we’ll find out the jurors were not influenced by the crackpot judge nor the unrepentant shooter.

I drive a 9 year old Honda fit with 36000 miles on it. So I’m not particularly concerned about the gas prices. Living in a smallish town also helps a lot. I tend to fill up once a month.

My conservative friends were so dismissive of me when I bought a Prius. “What are you going to do when that battery goes bad; but gas is cheap and will stay that way”, blah, blah blah. I fill up about once a month (usually about 8 gallons) and do all our local running around. 8 years after I bought it, it is running beautifully and trouble free.

want to lower carbon etc? try this. for every hole an oil company drills, they have to plug 50 abandoned wells, which are spewing methane. https://welldonefoundation.org/

    The problem is global:

    $USD

    South Korea $5.95

    Japan $5.53

    Germany Frankfurt $5.57

    France Paris $5.54

    Portugal Lisbon $5.35

    Hungary Budapest $4.94

I guess if you want to find cheaper gas, you can always go to one of these places:

    Saudi Arabia Riyadh $0.91

    Kuwait Kuwait City $0.78

    Egypt Cairo $0.65

The thing is, during the pandemic, people stopped traveling, and the price of oil plummeted. Oil companies stopped drilling and laid off people to preserve profits. When people got vaccinated and started traveling again, the oil companies have to gear up to start producing again,. It’s not like flipping a light switch.
