When I was in first grade, I awakened one Christmas Eve to discover Mom and Dad setting presents under the tree. The worst part was that after the Christmas break, I went to school and told all the other kids. My parents received a call from the school from an upset administrator. (True story)
When I was 12, we (myself, 9 year old sister, 14 year old brother) watched our dad and older siblings presents in from wherever dad had stored them. Among the presents were two bikes that were labeled “From Santa” in the morning. Sister and I were like “We saw you bring those in”, and my dad’s just like “Thank God. I can finally stop with this whole Santa business”. Then 6 years later he remarried and they had my half-sister, so the Santa thing started all over.
Remember when Trump did the traditional “little kids of the press come in to meet the Prez for Christmas?” They came over to the big desk, Trump smiled and said, “Do you still believe in Santa?” Ho ho no!
