I have a suspicion that mimes are really just people who lost bets in drama school.

I don’t know much about mimes… and there’s a reason for that… but I was thinking maybe that holding up a written sign somehow breaks mime code… and shouldn’t he just be trapped in an invisible box or pulling an invisible rope… and then I remembered the reason I don’t know much about mimes… I don’t care!

Somebody has to say it, a mime is a terrible thing to waste.

Any mime who used a sign would probably get his back broken by the Union of Gesture Entertainers.
