The NCAA has finally started the process of paying college sports — um — performers. Nothing so crass, yet, but they are now allowed to have some income from the use of their “image”…

Just scram, Peter.

College players think they are going to be paid millions of dollars.

Jason may not be good at or like football, but he is good at this kind of game with Peter.

Get serious. No one thinks sports is about anything other than money nowadays. ALL the big leagues are gradually adopting/allowing/even ENDORSING legal gambling. Can’t IMAGINE there wasn’t some back-room discussions/negotiations going on THERE….(rolling eyes)

The coldest game I ever played in was a Pop Warner game in Hull, Massachusetts in November. The field was on a jut of land sticking out into Boston Harbor, surrounded on three sides by water. It was snowing and windy. We froze our butts off but as I recall it, we loved it.

Ask your Dad, he probably would say yes……

College players:

A. Often get scholarships that pay for their education.

B. Want and like to play the game.

Reminds me of Minnesota Vikings in the 1960s and 1970s.

Jason should just take a knee and say he played

I am on Jason’s side he does not like football. For me neither do I or watch none.

Jason is not a pro and neither are you Peter

Scholarship players earn hundreds of thousands playing in college . . . and 90 percent of football players are on full scholarship

If they’re going to make giga dollars for the Universities by ruining their health, they should get paid like pros. Just don’t prostitute them, with lies, about them being AMATEURS!

If they restart the argument often enough, it will become too dark out to play. And, no, there are no street lights outside.
