Funny, there are no “supply chain issues” at my local grocers, BJ’s®, *Costco® or Sam’s Club®!!

Plenty of candy at Target and every grocery store I’ve been in.

As far as I’ve noticed, most supply chain issues has less to do with the supply chain than the suppliers.

The supply chain issues with Halloween candies will be shortages in homes as it gets eaten before the holiday.

Why are conservatives worry about supply chain? True conservatives know that if you can’t built it you don’t need it.

I’ve been binge-reading (I mean RE-reading) a lot of “Peanuts” comic strips recently. Decades ago, Charlie Brown was right p…….or “upset”, because he went down to try to buy a Halloween costume. They were all out. “Aren’t they getting any more?” asked Sally. “No, they were putting up CHRISTMAS decorations!” If I’d known that Charles Schulz could predict the future I’d have listened to his stock tips…or at least a few HORSES to bet on!

In tRumpland is the supply chain issue real? If tRump was in the White House I’m guessing no. Since Biden is in office it’s a magat h*ll yes.

I wonder what Charles Schultz heirs and or his estate would think about clay jones’s blatant plagiarizing of his ideas if not his property.

Aside from special situations, such as the chip shortage because the industry is unable to pivot quickly to meet the demand surge, it’s more a lack of labor, I.e. unloading the containers and then finding truckers to get them to the destination. Considering the demographics it will probably get worse.

The middle points of the distribution channels are not shy about price raises. Supply goes down and demand rises then so does the price to make more profit and to try to balance/cool the market.

I spoke to an auto dealer about an offer versus the MSRP. Very politely he said that there are no negotiations. He has buyers for cars unseen and who have made hefty deposits for vehicles that have not left the port of entry and they don’t know when they will arrive.

We’re a two car family but I could not resist selling the smaller one for $750 less than what I paid for the used car 22 months ago. As it turned out I might have been slightly low because I got two buyers on the same day.
