What is it with Americans and wasting/throwing food around?

For a single leaf to squish the ladybug like that, it had to be pretty heavy/dense. It must have been gold leaf?

Wonder if those contests are still broadcast? Always enjoyed seeing the very inventive gadgets designed just for that purpose. Even the ones that never worked.

A good strip with the Wizard and Blanche disagreeing then compromising. This is the second strip this month in which we’ve seen the Wizard preparing for Halloween which should be the most important time of year for wizards. I’m looking forward to next Sunday’s strip which will fall on Halloween.

Since when did a Catapult or Trebuchet (or whatever that contraption is) started going “FOOM!!” than “FATANG!” or “SWOOSH!!”?

Punkin Chunkin

As good a use for Pumpkin as any. I wonder if they have an accuracy component to those contests? Throwing something is one thing. Hitting something with what you throw is a whole different animal.

Some might say… heads up!

I once asked an old timer who helped out at my local produce stand if certain pumpkins were for eating or decorating. He replied; “That would depend upon how hungry you are”

Americans as a whole do not understand how good they have it.
