NO corporation has a conscience or sense of ethics. It’s pretty much what they were designed for (not on purpose, but “maximize profit for shareholders” isn’t an ethical statement).
If people get all bound up in collecting, say, too many cats we think they’re odd, or ill. But when people collect more money than they need, we think of them as successful. Very strange.
Just like corporations have again starting contributing to those House and Senate members who still deny that Herr Gropingfuror lost the election. Power over ethics and morality.
