You can jazz it up a little by setting off the little throw and pop deals by squeezing them between your fingers and twisting. Perfectly harmless. Also, flash paper can be lit while sitting in the palm of your hand without causing any burns.
I remember a kid in high school who had a very pained look on his face. Possibly that was because he was playing with explosives and blew the fingers off one hand.
