Ed didn’t use any derogatory terms, like maybe vermin, did he?

Probably more the musician thing than the cartoonist. They like a quiet neighborhood.

I remember renting my first apartment. Sort of similar. No problem with being a med student, it was the bassoon the land lady had difficulty with. Fortunately the music department let me use practice rooms until I graduated. Now we have room in my house, or in the great outdoors if the Mrs or enough cats need some quiet. I don’t ask about the bagpipes, I just take them outside without any discussion.
