I can not easily find information about whether Danziger got the true names and backgrounds of those two Patrollers. But it’s certainly true that everybody in the USA whose family isn’t 100% Native American must have SOME immigrants in their family tree.

I was bemused to see a RW common tater calling the use of the word “whip” fake news because those weren’t whips, they were reins. Bemused because those were leather reins, and they were long reins… and they were being used as whips, albeit not quite as “effective” as real whips might be when used by someone with training.

Picture from another angle shows no whips. Just long reins as is common in western riding. Reins not used as whips either. Haitian not holding belongings either, unless you consider food to go as belongings. At least it looked like a to go bag. And if it was whips, it occurred under Biden, and Harris is supposed to be handling the border.

I know that Jeff knows better, the Irish and Italians were treated similarity when they first landed in the US, likewise the Germans. All were hated for being Catholic, accused of being socialists, criminals, drunkards and reviled for being a blight on the pristine Protestantism by first the know nothings and later the anti saloon and temperance movements.
