Was there ever a time when politicians set aside ideological issues to work together to actually solve problems for over a few days, weeks, months, or — almost inconceivable — years? Why, in a supposedly advanced moral society, are demeaning criticisms more frequent than collaboration/cooperation/compromise/consensus?

Biden got control of that chaos in 48 hours. When no one thought we could get everyone out, Biden gave the order, our military went to work, and all but under 100 Americans who wanted to leave were flown out, along with some 150,000 Afghans that had supported us by August 31st.You chose to be “stranded” there.
What’s frightening, in some ways the Taliban, at least in the short term, have been easier to work with then Republicans. Even so, it’s usually pretty smart not to trust either of them.
