A special “Thank you” , to Dubya, and all those in Congress, both rethugicans and lameocrats, who got us into that mess in the first place. You’d think someone would have noticed how miserable the Russians were previously doing in Afghanistan and figure out how to avoid that same mistake.

We punished the Taliban. We rendered al Qaeda ineffective. Osama bin Ladin is dead. Take the win. Glad we’re out.

We shouldn’t have gone in the first place.

Too bad about that ten billion dollars worth of military equipment we are leaving behind. Luckily, the defense budget can cover that, and not blink.

Just think of what could have been accomplished with the TRILLION $$ that we WASTED in Afghanistan over the last 20 years, just so some Defense contractors, STARTING WITH CHENEY’S COMPANY HALLIBURTON could make more money. Thanks, lil’ bush…

Back on my home planet (“Earth” we called it) this wouldn’t have happened. People there think about cause and effect. Action/reaction.

Bush went to war vs. Iraq as retaliation for 9/11, which was perpetrated by Saudis.

He went to war vs. Afghanistan to find Osama bin Laden, who was hiding in Pakistan.

So, two wars, costing $4.5 trillion, against the wrong enemies.

Dead American count: 9/11, 2996; Iraq, 4431; Afghanistan, 2312.

Bin Laden spent about a million dollars on his attacks, or $333 per dead American. Bush racked up more than double the US corpse count but at a cost of ~$4.5 trillion, or $667,000,000 per dead American. Bin Laden was clearly the better Republican, having gotten way more bang for his buck.

Of course, they’re both pikers compared to the brilliantly cost-effective Donald Trump, who managed to rack up his 600,000 dead Americans by not spending a penny to fight coronavirus.

Wow, not a ReThuglican helping in the entire bunch. They made the mess, they b***h about getting out, but lip service is all ya get from them. Well, dictators including the new leader of Afghanistan got a different kind of lip service but the Turd Reich does that for all dictators. No wonder the trolls here learned to suck so much.
