The real origin to Stairway to Heaven

Monday’s comic finally showed up, not really essential to the story, but it’s nice to have the gap filled in.

Thanks for this. Had to look up Jordan and Diana. Very interesting relationship. I learn a lot from the comics.

I’ve used the analogy of flight pay in the Air Force before. It’s not the extra money in the paycheck at the end of the month that motivates pilots, it’s their love of flying. So if you are a Christian for the purpose of attaining heaven AFTER you die, I propose that you’re in the business for the wrong reason. My belief is that one should be a Christian (or whatever God calls you to be) because you love being one.

If you look around, it is easy to conclude that the world does NOT look like the Kingdom of God alluded to in the Bible. That means that it is a work in progress. For Christians, Jesus gave us the blueprint; we’re the workers that have to build it. It’s a shame that we spend so much time bickering among ourselves that we get so little useful work done.
