As I told Spouse, I can’t say “good for him” because, well, he’s NOT good. But it’s good that he finally decided to get out of the way and let the state start to work on important things instead of going round and round about his proclivities.
Hold on there, cowboy! That political toxic substance can’t just be trashed at the curb in the normal way. There must be some rules within the EPA for safe disposals of disgraced politicians (DDPs). Wouldn’t want their poisonous corruption effluvia to seep out to taint the political water supply, would we? If there isn’t a documented process, there should be (as a recent extreme case has clearly shown.)
I thought he’d hold out longer, but he must really care for his state, more than himself. With the cards fairly well stacked against him, he did the best thing to allow the state to get onto working on the Covid surge and the economy.
He needs 2 weeks to hide some bodies and God knows what all else.
I said he’d resign and he do so hoping that would provide relief from prosecution and impeachment. I think he wanted to ride out the rest of his term and promise not to run for re-election and that would get him off the hook. But he found that he didn’t have enough friends left in the legislature to avoid impeachment. Resigning was plan B for him. He’ll skate on the harassment stuff (which looks like it’s all misdemeanor stuff) but I hope that’s not true of the nursing home scandal and cover-up.

Too bad Republicans don’t have the decorum to do the same when they should. Then again, the media doesn’t hound them the same way.

Funny how HE did the Honorable thing, unlike Agolf Twitler and Giggity Gaetz. Guess that’s just ANOTHER difference between Democrats and Qpublicans.

He’s in the trash can now. He’s in the trash can now. I told him once or twice to quit touching women and treat them nice. He’s in the trash can now.

I have trash pickup once a week on Tuesdays. Maybe New York needs to not wait two weeks for trash pickup. Could reduce the rat population . . . . /S

I really don’t understand all the criticism. All Cuomo did was follow the well known rule that “When you’re a governor they let you do it.”
