Tucker Carlson praises Hungarian buildings for being riddled with bullet holes in weird America-bashing rant

On Monday, as part of his lengthy series championing the authoritarian right-wing government of Hungary as superior to the United States, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson went on a rant attacking American architecture and claiming that “you’re not allowed to say” how ugly U.S. buildings are.

“Looking at these buildings, which move me,” he began. “Not simply because they’re old, and some have bullet holes, which in my view are a very useful reminder, I wish I lived in a city with bullet holes in the buildings, because every morning you look at them and you think to yourself, it could be really bad because it’s been really bad, there’s a lot at stake, make wise, sober, long-term decisions or else you could wind up with more bullet holes — it’s true, it’s true.”

Carlson went on to say that most Americans were naive about just how dangerous the rest of the world is. “So I love your bullet holes.”

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. Maybe if they actually had something worthwhile in their lives they wouldn’t be screaming about freedoms while ignoring the responsibilities that come with those freedoms. If they refuse vaccines they should be refused medical care. Reserve medical care for the vaccinated and for those ineligible for the vaccine.

Republican governors like DeSantis who want to run for president feel they have to out-T***p T***p. They thought bucking common sense about COVID would be a good way to do it. Now I think some might realize they’ve made terrible mistakes and cost many constituents their lives. But they can’t back down, so it’s BIG LIE time.

Funny how a “Vaccine Passport” is some form of tyranny, but some college students are now willing to pay $300-$400 to get a FAKE ONE, rather then take 10 minutes over two days a few weeks apart to get a FREE VACCINE.
