This country needs to get rid of that son of a Mitch. We also need to get rid of the party dictators. Maybe then the gov. will start working again.

Some respected public servants have government buildings or libraries named after them. The most Mitch McConnell deserves is a stoplight with only red and yellow.

Don’t exasperate the issues created when Justice Ginsberg would not retire.

I took a test for which justice I would be on the Supreme Court. I was appalled it was Stephen Breyer. There’s no way I would have voted for "UT vs Strieff to give Uncle Thomas a majority. In fact, I would’ve voted with the other three and condemned the coddling of crooked cops the Nixon-Burger Court began on the exclusionary rule.

In today’s toon, McFaddy advocates judicial interference which is counter to Democratic values.

‘’We have met the enemy and he is Moskow Mitch!’’

Sorry, I just love typing Moskow Mitch.

He’s waiting for another Republican president to take office before dying. That’s nice of him.

This is a reference to a great short story by Herman Melville, “Bartleby the Scrivener”; in the story Bartleby says over and over “I would prefer not to” as a sort of passive way of saying “Absolutely not.”

Beyer has a lifetime appointment, so it’s up to him to decide when he wants to retire (if at all). Doesn’t matter when he goes – McConnell will not allow any replacement appointed who is not an alt-right conservative.

SCOTUS appointments should be for life. 20 years maybe but not longer.

Of course even if he retires before he dies, there’s no way McConnell would allow a replacement.

I wonder how many readers still remember Bartleby?
