No one ever said that disorganized random looting and burning were OK. Something that Rethuglicans choose to overlook is that there are on-going investigations and prosecutions of looters because it’s not OK. It’s not front and center in the news, like the Capitol insurrecton, so Repubs choose to ignore the fact and try to use it to support their false narrative that they are being persecuted. They are not, and in fact have so far gotten away with far more than is acceptable.

Let’s see, unplanned rioting over the continued repression of minorities is the same as a planned attempt to force the overturning of a validated national election.
