Sounds like some of the motels I’ve stayed at during this Covid crap. Charge more and get less. Survey sent wanting to know how they were? No continental breakfast even though price of room stays same.
My big pet peeve is when you get and e-mail or text asking you to answer one question (about a recent transaction) and when you do that it immediately takes you to a longer survey and won’t allow you to submit without answering all. (That is when I leave)
