I always end up missing a sock. I am in that current state right now. But I never never ever ever find them. I think Po’ Dawg ate them.

It’s embarrassing, but I lost a whole blouse that way. It was in a sheet, in a drawer, for weeks, until I found it. I thought I’d gone (more) insane.

Plus missing underwear, dish towel , washcloth,, rags……….. and I finally learned how to fold fitted sheets via Internet. I am immensely thankful for that.

I don’t fold fitted sheets. Take it off the bed, do laundry, put back on bed.

If you’re fortunate. Watched a spot on RTM where a guy pulled the front off his dryer and found a pile of socks under the dryer drum.

Socks? No, but it’s usually where I find the dryer sheet.

We know better: missing socks are on the feet of the ghosts that live in the attic. Hey, it gets cold in there in the winter.

Hey, if I’m not smart enough to fold a fitted sheet, what makes you think I can take a dryer apart?

If one has 3 types of socks – why don’t 2 pairs of the same type ever each lose a sock? Instead one ends up with 5 socks none of which match.

I NEVER lost a sock in the laundry until I married my present wife 20yrs ago. In the last 20yrs, enough socks have been lost to make up for the previous 50yrs.
