Our country flourishes under Democratic rule and crumbles under Republican rule been that way Since forever.

But he describe today’s small-government conservative! Go look at who donates to charity the most.

You don’t have to be a liberal to also be all that. Norm just made me a little sad.

Those who are the opposite of those qualities Norm claims to have can still claim the adjective “flaming”.

Everybody wants the moniker “liberal” because it sounds better. The left has always described themselves as such. The right use the term “classical liberal” to describe their views. But the truth is that humans are incapable of demonstrating “tolerance” without paradoxical intolerance.

Ergo, nobody is actually a liberal.

Today’s liberal judge people on their character, no matter their money.

Today’s conservative judge people on their success, (money), no matter their character.

The qualities Norm describes are that of a “human” regardless of politics. In fact, the vast majority of libertarians and conservatives I’ve know exhibit those characteristics. Oddly enough the typical modern liberal/progressive only exhibits them as long as you agree with them. Once you disagree, they treat you with disdain and no respect act all.

Some of us are old enough to remember Rockefeller and the Ripon Society – actual liberal/moderate Republicans when there was a Big Tent.

Norm is out of the closet as an elitist.

Cartoon character is a good description for flaming liberals.

Of the words I would use to describe liberals. Just look at Portland, Seattle, Detroit, etc and what you hear on CNN et al.
