It’s strange to have a woman in the strip that’s fully clothed. Maybe it only temporary.

Oh great! That’s all we need is the CDC in here. Everyone put your masks on! After Tarzan rescues her, she marries a Dr. Robert Fauci and they have a son and named him Anthony. You might have heard of him. He does a lot of experiments over in China.

They’ve never been contagious for all these decades, but if the CDC says so…

Here we see the newest covid safety measures. First get vaccinated, then socially distance, then fall on the ground screaming.

Mangani Apes. So, at least Dr. Ortega knows a little jungle lingo. And she’ll probably turn out to be kinda hot, after all, once she loses the glasses, and her hair grows out a bit, and Tarzan gets her into a proper leopard-skin bikini. And today is actually Sunday. All is well. ;-)

Dear ERB, Inc.: If you’re going to reprint Sunday strips, first finish the Goodwin/Kane run, then continue with the gorgeous Manning run. The Morrow run is okay, but he was nowhere near the artist Manning was, and the wonky balloon placement is distracting.
