Hey, Stel ol’ Bel, Didja know that that painting (A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte) was created by George Seurat using what is now known as ‘pointillism" (dots – millions of colored dots instead of paint strokes)It took him two years to finish it. It now is displayed in the Chicago Museum of Art .The painting had a bit part in ’Ferris Buller’s Day Off" in the eighties

I guess there’s pro and cons of any era. I think most people tend to romanticize certain times, and forget how tough things were for the poor, minorities, women (and the list goes on). I am fascinated with the Middle Ages, but if I was to live in that time, I’d want to be in the nobility, not a peasant.

I am now out of here, but I’m later tonight because I don’t have to drive to work in the morning and I’m at an offsite meeting in the afternoon and all day Tuesday.
