I am glad the masks are going away. It is dehumanizing at this point. It is no different than a women in the middle east having to cover their faces. It is awful.
I’ve decided to let the math speak to me: I’m vaccinated, and my odds of either getting or passing along the Covid virus are so small that adding a mask makes no discernible difference: Percentage differences out in the 7th decimal place, more or less. If I’m at your place (of business or home) and I see a sign saying masks are mandatory, or if you ask me to, I’ll be happy to mask up: There’s one in my pocket. But otherwise, I see no need. The mask’s main value at this point is to make a social point… well and maybe help prevent the next cold I won’t get.
So far, even if masks are optional at the event i’m attending I wear my mask there and take my cue from my hosts. If they are fine with no masks i take mine off, If they require masks i keep it on. Been doing it this way for over a year and no one I’ve socialized with has gotten covid.

Wearing a protective mask should never have to require you to say you’re sorry. It’s an extension of following the command to “Love Thy Neighbor.”

If they sent the invite by snail mail they are obviously non-maskers. And probably want to do away with the USPS.

If they invited you, they must sympathize with you…

Masks were the best thing to happen to ugly people with pretty eyes.
