    There are about 20 different broods that come out in different areas in different years. Some every 17 years and others every 13 years. Check you local listings for details.

    Cicadas are not a problem here in Northern Colorado, not the right climate I guess

    We don’t have fireflies either, and I wish we had those

    We do get swarms of Miller moths and they get into everything, when they get into the house our cats love it

    I have not heard the cicadas sing for 4 days now. I think they are done in my neighborhood in DC. I’ll miss the little bugs!
