The crooked Putin loving lying anti democracy violent big lie totally corrupt vote suppressing republican party should be disbanded.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

As if the GOP care about democracy. As budding fascists they don’t want democracy, they have a vision of ruling for a thousand years.

That headstone could also say “R.I.P. GOP”…

Once Trump fleeces all the money he can, he’ll claim he’s not feeling well and has decided not to run. The G.O.P. will take credit for talking Trump out of running and saved Democracy for America . . . . making it great again.

I tend to agree with my friend Brent that this is providing an excellent test of the resiliency of our democracy, and our democracy obviously is mostly made up of assumptions that only sober-minded, ethical people would enter politics and advance to the highest offices in the land – we obviously have no checks and balances to prevent morons, idiots and imbeciles from attaining higher office.

And, incidentally, federal judges should have to meet some minimum standard, as well, in my opinion!

And you just know the lying, hypocritical morons will say exactly that!

This cartoon is ridiculously inaccurate…the GOP has regularly demonstrated it doesn’t give a RIP about democracy…

This leaves out the predicted August re-instatement of 45 and the ejection of Biden & Co. from the offices they illegally assumed. ( /s —shouldn’t be necessary)

God willing our Democracy will survive and in the end that gravestone can read RIP GOP !

Only if we let it! The Democrats in the Senate need to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act (even if it means killing the filibuster) and launch their own investigation of the Jan. 6th Insurrection. Not to mention going on the the Morning Talk shows and Sunday Chat Shows and calling BS on the MAGA crowd’s attempt to reframe the Capitol storming as a peaceful demonstration. But the Dems don’t want to repeat the mistake they made during Obama’s first term and not pushing for much (The Affordable Care Act notwithstanding) and ended up losing the House and Senate majorities in the process. By playing the “go big or go home” card, and hopefully acting on voting rights, infrastructure and presenting themselves as the grownups in the room, they hope they can bring the Democratic base out in force in 2022 (and, hopefully, get moderate Republicans and independent swing voters out in force to vote Democratic as well) and widen their majorities in next year’s midterms. The ball’s in the Democrat’s court now, and we’ll see what happens. The midterms are a year and a half away and in the world of politics, one year is an eternity.

The GOP will blame it on Biden, of course.

Actually Republicans will be dancing on the grave.
