On a certain internet forum, I tested the personal censor function by telling it to replace the word “trajectory” with the word “banana”. Didn’t think it would ever come up, but then one day I found myself trying to explain rocket trajectories and why they don’t go straight up.
“The bananas are curved to take advantage of the rotation of the Earth.”
Nobody knew what the heck I was talking about, including me, because I’d forgotten about the personal censor function by then.
