Israelis bear as much responsibility as HAMAS for the current violence in Gaza. You can walk on people just so long before they object.

On April 7, the Biden administration announced on Wednesday it would provide $235 million in U.S. aid to the Palestinians, restarting funding cut off by President Donald Trump.

About a month later, Hamas launches rockets into Israel.

    Those rockets do cost money.

Anybody sitting on this side of the Atlantic shouldn’t be picking sides in that conflict. It is an extremely complicated mess, and pointing fingers doesn’t help the situation.

Lisa manages yet again to oversimplify a horrendous situation. Congrats (or something)…

And of course, according to Lisa and all the evangelicals (who believe that when Israel the Jesus come back is on), Israel is pure as the driven snow. ’A month ago, the Muslim holy month of Ramadan began, and Palestinians have complained of what they say are unnecessarily severe restrictions by Israeli police, who prevented them from gathering on steps outside the Old City – an unofficial tradition after evening prayers.

Amid rising tensions, there was an increase in communal violence, with videos shared online of street harassment and several attacks between Jews and Palestinians. Events came to a head in late April when hundreds of far-right Israelis marched down city streets chanting “death to Arabs” and confronted Palestinians. How did it escalate over the past week?

Anger built ahead of an Israeli court ruling, which was due on Monday, on whether authorities would evict dozens of Palestinians from the majority-Arab East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah and give their homes to Jewish settlers.

On the same day, thousands of flag-waving Israeli nationalists were due to march through Muslim neighbourhoods in the Old City in a provocative parade that celebrated Israel’s capture of the city in 1967.

By Monday, the court date had been delayed and the march was rerouted, but by that point, the situation has already spiralled.’ ( Guardian) https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/may/11/what-has-caused-jerusalem-worst-violence-in-years-israel-palestine

Over 2,000+ missiles over a three day period funded by Biden to the tune of $250 million dollars shoveled into the pockets of the P.L.O. and Hamas.

The Democrats are out for revenge big time for the outrageous insult of Trump’s Abraham Accords achievement.

Four years with no war under Trump . . . less than five months into the Biden " administration " and the Middle East is in flames again.

Love him or hate him, Trump brought more peace to the Middle East than any pervious president in history. It’s Uncle Joe’s mission to destroy anything Trump accomplished. He’s doing real well by such acts of encouragement as releasing $125 mil to the Palestinians last month. Probably helped pay for this missile.

Hamas lobbing rockets at Israel threatening a new war, Putin massing forces on the Ukraine border, China rattling sabers at Taiwan, Russian government sponsored hackers shutting the Colonial pipeline, southern border in a crises with unprecedented amounts of illegal aliens pouring into the country, higher taxes, price of gas skyrocketing, massive job losses, businesses struggling for employees because of government handouts, the list goes on. All thanks to the leaderless, chaotic, sleepy Joe administration. This crap would never have happened on President Trumps watch.

Since 2017 the U.S. has given over 50 billion in military aid to Israel. So there’s that. Those jets and bombs are really really expensive.

David Ben-Gurion, a man that I admire, wrote the following in his “War Diaries” in February 1948, 3 months before Israel was created:

“The war shall give us the land. The concepts of ‘ours’ and ‘not ours’ are peace concepts only, and they lose their meaning during war.”

The difference is that Israel uses it’s weapons to protect it’s women and children, Hamas uses its women and children to protect it’s weapons.
