They are trying to be “the party of personality” because they know they’d never make it as “the party of honesty, or of integrity, or of morality, or of ethics, or of any other positive characteristic.”

Here’s the irony: I’ve never liked Cheney’s world view or her agenda (not surprising given her heritage), but she is the sane and reasonable one here, almost a statesperson. In this regard, she is a patriot among a bunch of fascist plotters. As Sartre pointed out, remaining silent when malfeasance is occurring and you silently object is, in reality, an endorsement of the wrongdoing. We have a political party descending into chaos, rotting in their own bad soil, and we have no ameliorant to help them back to health. Oremus!

I still find it interesting that The Big Lie carefully avoids the issue of unverified or unverifiable machine counts, whether they be voting machine, or tabulators. There’s even at least one state that doesn’t allow hand counting of all ballots (I’m talking to you, Florida). No, The Big Liars focus on lies that can be used to suppress the vote. Meanwhile the corporations that control the counting process are doing … what? We don’t know, we can’t know.
