Exactly, because if you can’t shoot someone and get away with it, well, why bother becoming a cop…

Gorrell is more concerned about the “feelings” of police officers than the injustices dealt to Americans of color!

Gorrell deserves the ‘Bull Connor’ Award!

Is that electrical tape covering the badge number, so we don’t know who the goon breaking the law is?

Yeah. How dare the American people expect the police to actually suffer the consequences when they break the law. /s

    Absolutely, Gorrell.

A cop being convicted for what he did is devastating to the morale of cops who don’t murder anyone.

I mean, who wants to be a cop when you cannot murder one of Those People whenever you feel like it?

The “bad” morale, Bob? Having to work with bad cops.

Really is something to have the RWNJ “cartoonists” and their brown-nosing sycophants post their b.s. and get completely ratioed in the comments.

If being held accountable for “bad shoots” hurts morale, you need different officers anyway…

Oh no! Officer Morale is down because one cop was held accountable for murdering someone?

Tell that to all the doctors and nurses who have spent the last year pushed to their limits trying to save people from covid, watching patient after patient die, all while the rightwing media spent every day of the last year making their jobs harder, by telling people not to wear masks or to take the pandemic seriously.

It’s ridiculous to still try and argue that police have no choice but to kill someone, when white mass shooters are taken in to custody peacefully all the time

I know every cartoon has a like button for the particular cartoon/cartoonest but what I would like right now is a DETEST button because this is the most insulting POS to good cops everywhere. Your insinuation is that all cops, including the majority good cops, are going to be unhappy that one of their murderous bad cops is finally paying the price for being a bad cop. I hope some cops dump all over you, Gorrel.

All police being lumped in with the very few bad is what hurts morale, and that’s what you idiots do.

It’s difficult for people to understand this toon, because if you have never been in law enforcement, or had family or friends who were/are cops, and or have worked with law enforcement agencies, then you cannot truly understand what challenging stress they face everyday and thus how significant the image in this toon is to them. Please consider that when mocking and berating all cops.

That badge is from L.A. Is the LAPD having morale issues? Nothing about it in my feed—but I don;t live there anymore anyway. Been a few decades.
